Obama Continues Lead With Catholic Vote

Obama Winning the Catholic Vote

Republican Outreach to Catholics Falls Flat

Surveys by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press show that Catholics are saying the support Barack Obama over John McCain by a margin of 54% to 34% - a twenty point lead. The survey was taken October 23-26. This is a remarkable advance from the September 9=14 survey which had the Catholic vote as 45% Obama, 44% McCain. All of you who have volunteered with your parish or diocese Catholics for Obama organization have done great work, producing these stunning results.

Even among white, non-Hispanic Catholics, the support for Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama has grown, taking him from a 13-percentage-point deficit in late September to an 8-point lead in late October.

The Pew data shows the largest part of the shift was among white Catholic independents, with only modest changes among white Catholics who identify as Republicans or Democrats. Independents are the voters one would expect to shift the most in the midst of a presidential campaign.

This suggests that the Catholic outreach efforts for McCain has been effective at keeping Republican Catholics on board, but a disaster when it comes to reaching out to politically independent Catholics. Fortunately for the Democrats, these hard conservatives Catholics are not known for self-criticism so we can count on them making the same mistakes in the future, alienating rather than winning votes.

John Green, Senior Fellow in Religion and American Politics, Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life was asked how has Obama, a black Protestant, succeeded with white Catholics in 2008 in a way that Sen. John Kerry, a white Catholic, did not when he was the Democratic nominee in 2004? Green responded:

I think there are some special things about the Obama campaign that may be contributing to this white Catholic shift and may, in fact, lead to white Catholics giving Obama a majority on Election Day. Obama talks much more comfortably about his faith than Kerry did during the 2004 campaign. And Obama talks about it in a way that connects in a fairly straightforward fashion to Catholic social teachings on economic issues. And if one adds other issues that Obama has championed, such as opposition to the war in Iraq, there are a number of key points that white Catholics may find very cogent on religious grounds.

A final difference between 2004 and 2008 may be the more intensive campaigning within the Catholic community on behalf of Obama. New organizations, such as the Catholic Alliance for the Common Good, have been very active alongside older groups, such as Pax Christi and Catholics for Choice. The revival of a “religious left” in national politics has been an important feature of the 2008 campaign.

And not just the Catholics!

It is out of love that I tell you these things
I find that cafeteria Catholics who try to justify their so called “well formed conscience” saying well this or that poll shows the majortity (of those polled) says is nothong more than attempt to avoid the teaching of Faith.

I also notice you have added links to Catholics sites which are not in communion with the church. Such as Catholic for choice, their sole mission is to support abortion. As for those considering voting for Obama, again I must ask you rethink your position. Obama vowed that his first act as President would be to sign the "Freedom of Choice Act," (FOCA) which could repeal every single state law against ANY restrictions on abortion-on-demand, throughout all nine months of pregnancy.

Bishop Gracida states, in his Radio address. http://www.randallterry.com/
"This is Bishop Rene H. Gracida, reminding all Catholics that they must vote in this election with an informed conscience. A Catholic cannot be said to have voted in this election with a good conscience if they have voted for a pro-abortion candidate. Barack Hussein Obama is a pro-abortion candidate."

In a letter to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops in 2004, Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger wrote:
“Not all moral issues have the same moral weight as abortion and euthanasia. For example, if a Catholic were to be at odds with the Holy Father on the application of capital punishment or on the decision to wage war, he would not for that reason be considered unworthy to present himself to receive Holy Communion. While the Church exhorts civil authorities to seek peace, not war, and to exercise discretion and mercy in imposing punishment on criminals, it may still be permissible to take up arms to repel an aggressor or to have recourse to capital punishment. There may be a legitimate diversity of opinion even among Catholics about waging war and applying the death penalty, but not however with regard to abortion and euthanasia.”

If you don’t like McCain then vote for Ron Paul, although Rod has seen UFO’s but it is clear he doesn’t subscribe to FOCA.

I will offer on last thought via a quote. "The Christian ideal has not been tried and found wanting; it has been found difficult and left untried." - Chapter 5, What's Wrong With The World, 1910 G K Chesterton.

One of the reasons so many Catholics are voting for Obama, is that Republican Catholics time and time again have been caught in proven lies, such as the above. There are no links on this website to 'Catholics for Choice' or related groups. Anyone can go down the list and see that. Just like another poster, when confronted with a statement of EWTN on John McCain's lack of full support for the pro-life cause, claimed it wasn't true even though there was a link to the exact statement.

I have heard many valid points in McCain's favor by Republican Catholics. But the repeated dishonesty makes reasonable people question EVERYTHING they claim.

Sadly, it is not just the McCain campaign but the recent lies by the Republican Senator Elizabedth Dole simply add to the evidence that the GOP cannot be trusted to be honest.

HAVE YOU EVER NOTICED THAT THE ONLY ONES WHO WILL LET ABORTION GO ON ARE THE ONES ALREADY ALIVE.
I would like to give you this witness of why I could never support anyone who could let abortion go on:I grew up with a very abusive mother, physically and emothionally, she would repeatedly tell me that had abortion been legal so that she wouldn't have had to go to a back alley doctor I would have never been born. She was a successful woman, born of a very poor family during the depression and still managed to work her way thru college and had one of the highest civil clearances you can recieve. She got pregnant with me out of wedlock,in those times if a woman was pregnant under those circumstances she could have lost her job and all she had worked for, So she tried all she could to lose me and starved herself during her pregnancy so no one would know, then gave me up. When I was 6 she had found someone to marry and settle down so she came back and abducted me from school. I have never seen my adoptive mother since, but her love has stayed with me all my life. My step-father was Irish Catholic so in order to get me back in school they had me baptised Catholic and put me in Catholic school thru elementary. I never could connect to her and she only felt rage every time she looked at me.But God took care of me, I feel in love with the faith and convinced a Priest to let me be confirmed at the young age of 8,(I was very fearful of being taken away from the church, as neither of my parents were active members) When I was 11 I informed my parents that I would like to join the convent at which time they removed me from Catholic school, and I very rarely was able to even attend Mass. Upon attending public school a school nurse realized I was being beaten and brought the state in,they removed me from her at the age of 14. I finished growing up in foster care from one home to another. My life was tough to say the least. But God had taken care of me. My mother and I never did connect and for most of my life I really didn't have much to do with her. She is now gone. That is all behind me now and I have a wonderful husband, 2 daughters and 6 grandchildern and am very active with the Church. But had abortion been legal as rough as my life was I wouldnt be here today and there would not be 8 other people in this world. I am very happy with my life and thank God every day for the fact that abortion was illegal. So say what you want, I also know that other people who have survived abortions feel the same way I do. GOD WILL PROVIDE IF WE ONLY TRUST HIM. I hope I have given you something to think about and even if it only saves one life, I am glad I took the time to type this and reveal my life.I don't tell this to many people but please think about it LIFE IS A GIFT EVEN IN OUR SUFFERING. I will pray for you. Sincerely in Christ

Well Katharine it isn't a lie the hyper-links are found in the last paragraph of your original post. You are the one who hyperlinked Catholics for Choice in the text of you main post on your blog not I. --- I didn’t lie.

"A final difference between 2004 and 2008 may be the more intensive campaigning within the Catholic community on behalf of Obama. New organizations, such as the Catholic Alliance for the Common Good, have been very active alongside older groups, such as Pax Christi and Catholics for Choice. http://www.catholicsforchoice.org/topics/abortion/default.asp
and here is their statement on Abortion.

"The morality and the legality of abortion is an important personal and political issue throughout the world. Catholic support for legal abortion is grounded in core principles of Catholic theology, which respect the moral agency of all women."
There is no "core principles" in Catholic theology that supports abortion in any form.

It is interesting that you assume that I or another poster are republicans because we disagree with your position. I won’t be so bold as to call you democrat, but I will say that you are at the very least a misguided Catholic. Church teaching is clear on the subject, as is cannon law.

As for the link to EWTN I didn’t deny the comments of the person who was interviewed for the spot you linked to. What I said was that you don’t watch the World Over very much or you would know there were and have been more commentators who presented a different view. I guess I would have to ask who was really being dishonest in their post.

The bottom line is that Obama supports abortion at any stage up to including partial birth abortions on the day a viable full term child would be born.

My question for you is -- Why do you support such a person?

Even worse why do you insist in confusing follow Catholics by promoting such a view?

Michael,

I don't know if you are a Republican or not, but you sure seem straight out of the Rove-McCain school of damning people for the most distant relationships with someone.

You stated that I had added links to Catholics sites which are not in communion with the church. The links I add to this blog are along the right hand side of the blog. None of them are organizations hostile to the Church. I re-printed (with attribution) a response by a scholar at the Pew Foundations and the links included are their's, not mine. I am confident their links are for informational purposes not advocacy. Even though I am hesistant to edit others work this way, I've found how to eliminate the link.

Your statement was still out of line and a reading of the text (didn't the italics indicate anything to you?) shows it to be from another source.

Church teaching is clear on the subject, as is cannon law.

The church teaches the immorality of abortion, a teaching I fully accept. Canon law (cannon is something used in warfare, but maybe that is what you meant. I follow the Prince of Peace.) re-affirms the immorality of abortion.

The Church's public policy positions (as reflected in the U.S. Conference of Catholics Bishops) calls for a variety of legislative initiatives both to restrict abortion and to support women in crisis pregancies. I support the bishops on these matters.

As for the link to EWTN I didn’t deny the comments of the person who was interviewed for the spot you linked to.

You didn't but another poster did.

Catholics do not believe that life begins at conception and ends at natural birth. As long as most Americans believe that life begins at the first breath and ends at the last, politicians will be powerless to change laws to end abortion. These next years are going to challenge us as Christians. Is the role of the Church to support a certain political agenda, a certain party, or is the role of the Church Militant to see that it's role transcends parties and seeks to exert it's force through the evangelization or changing of hearts? Many in the Church have sought to take the easy expedient way to end abortion, by electing those who share no values with them but the pledge of pro-life. It may be clear in the next years that the Church as moral leader and moral example can do more to change hearts and minds than the former impression of simply changing political figures. Political parties have the power to make life better for the living. It is the Church Militant's obligation to set the standard that will make life better and safer for the pre-born. They will acheive this not by caveat but by evangelization. The Church Militant's role as evangelists for the unborn may be a tougher road but will inevitably acheive far more lasting results.

A History Lesson

In the late 1950's most Cubans thought Cuba needed "a change" and they were right. So when a young, dynamic leader came along, every Cuban was at least receptive. When the young leader spoke eloquently and passionately and denounced the old system, the press fell in love with him. They never questioned who his friends were or what he really believed in. He said he would help the farmers and the poor and bring free medical care and education to all, and everyone followed. He said he would bring justice and equality to all, and everyone said "Praise the Lord!" The young leader said, "I will be for change and I'll bring you change," and everyone yelled, "Viva Fidel!" But by the time the executioner' s guns went silent, the people's guns had been taken away. By the time everyone was equal, they were equally poor, hungry, and oppressed. By the time everyone received their free education it was worth nothing. By the time the press noticed, it was too late, because they were now working for him. By the time "the change" was finally implemented Cuba had been knocked down a couple of notches to Third-World status. By the time the change was over more than a million people had taken to boats, rafts, and inner tubes.

Luckily, we in America would never fall for a young leader who promised change without asking, "what change?" Would we?

MaJones Mad - all of you are naive and deceived...it is not about abortion, it is really about the "remains" from an abortion. The following that I'm pasting from an email is long, but sums up the real issue--FOLLOW THE MONEY FOOL! I (an accounting type) have researched this, and it a complex connection, but what this alleges is true. If you are a MAN, you should really take note, and if you are Catholic, should really take note and stop being diverted by the subject of abortion & war, and look at the grotesque things they do for money. I also in trying to verify the post below, talked to a friend that recently had an abortion, and she was not told they profit from the remains, not told it would be used for research and if a female the eggs fertilized (bad enough you didn't want the sperm/DNA that met up with your egg you aborted, now they use that to "re-sperm" by a stranger. This is too freaking crazy, but it is perfectly legal, and BO and bud's KKKLaneed P-Hood will continue to provide the inventory from unsuspecting women, and leaving men, again, with eroding rights. The financial detail too complex to add, but my hand on the Bible it is true. Here is the post: "This is the speech I would give if I were Senator McCain:" (and all men (and
women) should ask NObama the questions this raises.) Senator Obama, I am here, and in my same ole style, to reach across the aisle.
You say our daughter’s should have the same rights as our son’s, yet men are mysteriously absent from your platform unless they are under attack, like Joe the Plumber, whom you release the Gestapo on when he even vaguely questioned your position. (You need couch time dude, you are very father-conflicted, and if you need a father figure, I am here for you!)

Poor Joe was viciously smeared with such hatred that in my day was reserved for Nazi war criminals. It’s about time one of us has the cajones to speak up for men and acknowledge they too, share some rights in our great Nation.

All I am asking for is better community property rights for men. Bear with me, BozO, I’ll explain.

You see, this is something you wouldn't understand, never having been a military man. (I’ll bet you scream like a girl at the sight of a BB gun you skinny wussy--were you ever even a boy scout, or never mind been in a foxhole with grenades flying overhead?) We military guys have a code of honor to risk our lives to bring home dead soldiers. All too often the soldier we return is absent a head and a couple of limbs, but that’s ok, it allows their family not the enemy (you)-- to determine the final disposition of the remains.

Keep with me here you pansy-assed, Harvard educated, Community Organizing, Constitutional Law teaching jackass, don’t get your panties in a wad, I’m not asking you to renege on your promises to women, not at all. Swear. I could give a rat’s ass about that. So follow along:

So keep your stupid First Act as President (You inexperienced fool, I hate to piss on your party, Senator, but I’ve had lots of experiences in the Oval Office, (or will you make it round, like your logo?) and signing legislation probably won’t be first. There are minor things like, oh, top secret info you need to be briefed on (if you pass the security clearance test!) so you can make instant life or death decisions affecting just a few countries, briefings on where our nukes are, what the codes are and who has the football, and maybe some calls from General’s and Heads of State, and by golly, even according to JoeB, you may be faced with a 9/11ish incident on a grander scale to deal with while you obsess on a bill that is usually left for Congress (IHTFP) to debate and deal with.)

I couldn’t figure out why you are so hell-bent on this as your first act, but I followed the money and now I get it! Now I understand your strategy and tactics, especially the ones using the Baptist, Progressive, Catholic and Fundamental Church’s etc. to blur things (pretty good tactical move, we could have used you in the military!) Shame on you. I can’t wait until your chickens come home to roost.

Well, I am hell-bent on preventing another dishonor to my Country by a Tuskegee-ish program that you will make you and your backers wealthy using personal property that belongs to families and individuals, and MEN. Regular old guys like Joe. I’m simply talking about the right for men to have a claim to the property left over, the fetal remains, so we can have the closure of knowing the remains, er property, left over that is ½ ours is not being messed with or profited on by you or anyone else. If the woman, after being fully informed of the stream of inter-state commerce the remains take wants her ½ to go there, fine. But give men their ½ by golly.
Remember your former Rev. Wright’s admonition of: Whenever you place price over principle, you have defined yourself as a prostitute. Well, Mr. Baby parts-pimping silver tongued fool, If you and your cohorts aren’t going to profit, then you should be the compassionate person you are always claiming to be and add the following provisions to your precious legislation immediately, proving, especially to men, that you are not essentially pimping parts:

-Fetal remains are defined as the personal property of the mother and/or father.

-The Legal right for a mother or a father to immediately upon extraction from the uterus, receive all of the fetal remains, regardless of the term of gestation or dismembered condition, so they can dispose of it as they deem fit and according to their culture.

- Full disclosure, (kind of like an SEC filing before going public, wink, wink, you know all about that) of the current market value of the fetus, with specificity, by organ and other matter--including the market value of the 2,000 eggs already present in a female fetus. To avoid another Tuskegee-ish sick demented tragedy sanctioned by our own government (allowed under your First Act legislation) and reminiscent of the perverse experiments done by the Nazi regime, full disclosure must include all potential experiments and acts that are done, and foreseeably done, on any part, cell, organ etc. of both male and female fetuses. Particular detail must be included on all present and potential legal and illegal experimentation using female fetuses eggs, especially in this time of great promise and research in the stem cell arena that will require, according to a world renowned Bioethicist and Professor, millions and millions of eggs.

Men especially need to have the peace of mind that more of their offspring are not being created with someone else’s sperm from a bank, (goodness, if the dead property was his daughter, and 1,000.00 of the eggs are legally his, that’s potentially 1,000 different sperms and 1,000 mini-grandchildren his DNA, he also had taken from him.)

-If a fetus is born alive, ergo, no longer a burden, it should be the other parent/partner’s legal right to keep it and seek immediate medical intervention. You man-hating SOB, how could you have a problem with this? If it has exited the birth canal, can we at least give the fathers and partners some rights? Wouldn’t it be fair to allow a man or a partner to keep their own living fetus, as it is no longer a burden to the mother? (Talk about violating the 8th amendment where the F is the ACLU on this?) This is cruel and unusual punishment this pales in comparison to water-boarding (which by the way I handled far worse torture than that, you wussies, and I would have welcomed the hydration). What about a father or gay partner that has seen their fully developed child in 3D sonograms, heard its heartbeat over the 7-9 months, probably named it, talked to it and even got pickles and ice cream for a bitchy mother, and bingo -- she decides the 7-9 month old fetus is a burden she can not bear—fine, keep that legal, but can’t we be decent at least allow him, if the fetus has exited the vagina and is still alive, to keep his child?

-Remove your mandate that medical personnel cannot conscientiously object to assisting in a procedure without being fired. We are going to have enough unemployment, and this not only violates the free exercise of many religions, personal morals of some atheists, it smacks of Nazism and tyranny. Where are your big fat Unions on this one?

But I realize your dilemma here Sen. Obama. If you agree to these simple, reasonable, most adults-can-finally-be-proud-of America amendments, you are going to piss off some of the most powerful money brokers in the world that gave your campaign millions and millions of dollars and would stand to lose billions if you agreed to this, as it would stop the inventory from flowing!
(Oh, did you just stain your shorts a little?)

Damn dude, they may break your kneecaps but another thing I know from Experience--it doesn’t hurt for too long. But you are taking our personal property, and last I heard, Mr. Constitutional Lawyer, search and seizure without due process is illegal dumbass.

Hey, we can choose the fate of our dead cat or dog, so why not something that is indisputably our personal property and of (arguably) less value? C’mon silver tongue, defend that one!

You may lose some friends too. (They just don’t invite you over anymore, don’t worry they don’t break your kneecaps although if Ayers is your friend and has any financial involvement in this, you may want to get you’re girls a pet, say, a bomb sniffing dog?)Anyhow, a lot of these friends were counting on some nice tidy profits and promotions by aiding and abetting your scheme of deception and stealing people’s personal property at a vulnerable time. (If they don’t invite you the Country Club anymore, don’t call the ACLU, it isn’t because you’re part black.)

I wish I was Catholic and knew the Pope, he and I might be old, but I’d bet we could kick all four of the catholic scholar’s asses that tried to confuse catholics (oops, even though I believe in equality of the sexes, I wouldn’t slap the lady scholar.)

Good example, your Pepperdine catholic scholar, getting tremendous MSM coverage including Newsweek, to persuade his fellow catholics join you and other catholic scholars in endorsing your candidacy by blurring the distinction between the war and the (you simply call it abortion, but it’s experimentation and genocide of one of our own cultures that has been an integral part of building our great country, has fought for, been enslaved by, (no one in your family treehouse though, am I correct?), died for, and suffered reprehensible atrocities at the hands of.) No, no, they urge their catholic brethren to give up on trying to save America’s unborn children (cleverly still refusing to give the truth about the New Tuskegee) because soldiers who willingly chose to sacrifice their lives are dying. Well, since the universities, especially in California, conduct embryonic stem cell research, (and already has a tons (no pun intended) of sperm from mainly white college boys hey at least they were paid for it!) have contributed millions to your campaign, I am sure he is bucking for a job on the Board of Regents, which is not a bad gig.

And just read some of the excerpts from your own church’s bulletin, (which you and Mrs. O are mentioned in, Mrs. O as a guest speaker and you and Rev. Wright as a special package) same gig let’s keep sheeple fired up over the war, call pro-lifers fanatics anything to bury the truth of what your profits (nice new house Rev. Wright) will be from the heinous acts on a mainly African American DNA (eggs). And men can’t even bury what is ½ theirs in the freakin backyard.

Well, Senator Obama, old people tend to go on a bit long. We need to be compassionate to men’s needs to, but we really need to at least inform American’s of this Nazi-esque experimentation without consent. Over 400,000 American’s gave their life to defeat the Nazi’s and now we plan to embark on a not so dissimilar path? I realize you may be jeopardizing your kneecaps and economic well being, but even under intense torture I never gave up on my country, and would still give my life for her. I hope you love for America is just as deep.

P.S. And I came home and did it the American way, I married a rich chick. So Don’t worry, Mrs. O’s doing pretty good at U of C, you’ll still be able to live near Mr. Ayers. What’s that, oh, she a woman and has children, so can’t really do a good job? Hmmm.

And that’s what I would say if I were Senator McCain!!! Expose this thieving SOB!

Given the fact, however, that the United States played such a large role in the wholesale exploitation of African lives and, given the fact that this exploitation still exists in many forms today, it is doubtful that any such memorial will ever be created. We have been out of slavery for fewer years than our ancestors were enslaved; Jim Crow and the Civil Rights Act are part of our all too recent past. What would Africa be like today if those innumerable brilliant minds had not been ripped from the bosom of West Africa?
Let us move together, realizing that the fragmentation of the African Community is part of a divisive, systematic plan to keep us weak and powerless. Let the sons and daughters of Africa arise and advocate for the memorialization of our own Holocaust, the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade, and what it cost not only Africa but the entire world.

In our denomination’s highly successful September launch of The Ground Truth in
25 cities and 15 theaters, UCC churches and others drew between 50 and 700 people in events to view and discuss this important new film. Many of these events included panels where churches linked with veterans organizations in their community for the first time. From October 4 - 11, thousands of Americans will gather across the country in churches, universities, community centers, town halls coffee houses, and living rooms to screen The Ground Truth, a new video by Focus Features, giving the real stories of Iraq veterans. The UCC will receive $5 for every DVD ordered by JPANet members.
Why these dates?
October 11 is the four-year anniversary of the Congressional authorization of use of force against Iraq. Since the Iraq war has started, more than 2,711 American soldiers have been killed, and IraqBodyCount.net reports at least
43,525 confirmed Iraqi civilian casualties. We now know that this war was based, at best, on faulty intelligence, and at worst, on outright lies. And yet, we, as people of faith, cannot stand idly by and say I told you so. We are compelled to act. View the trailer The showing here at Trinity was on the 4thFriday in September. Members were overwhelmed by the testimonies of those who have lived through what you have heard Pastor Wright preach about. Now you, as a member of Trinity and a proud member of the United Church of Christ, have a unique opportunity to support our troops and talk about the morality of the Iraq war with members of your church, friends and family members who do not belong to or attend services at Trinity by listening to the stories of veterans who were there. I’m sure Dr. Alveda King shares in the African American Community’s strong traditions regarding final resting, and the Community’s resolve to never, ever, let anything like Tuskegee happen again. I share America’s utter disgust at government sanctioned non-consenting experimentation. (I want to believe Oprah shares the same sentiment, why don’t you call her?)

Even though I am not a high powered Constitutional lawyer like you, and the legal writing required is waaay above my pay grade even I can see the potential conflict regarding paternity rights to left over personal property and a fetus that survived. So I pledge to you and America, that Cindy, Sarah, and I will personally campaign to raise private funds 1) to cover the cost of both freezing the remains and performing the paternity/DNA tests; and 2) to fund the medical costs incurred to provide treatment to a born alive fetus and 3) to fund foster homes for born alive fetuses while paternity is being established; and 4) for those that choose burial, assistance in those costs.

self-loathing-narcissistic-facist-nazi-but-a-communist-megalomaniac!)

In contrast with you, Dr. Alveda King and I share the same deep concern over the decimation of the black community, due chiefly to abortion. Just since the Iraq War began, over 7 million babies (35% of them African American) have been aborted in the U.S., and over 4,000 U.S. soldiers killed. This is a ratio of 1,750 babies to 1 soldier. I think Dr. King would agree that you are personally complicit in the decimation of this community, and in my heart share her ultimate goal of abolishing what she so justly calls a lynching from the womb but for the sake of reaching across the aisle and compromising, I accept your view that a woman’s rights outweigh the robust preservation of an entire culture and ethnicity. I am humbly asking that you, and every member of Congress, tonight, prior to our elections, pledge to America that to amend legislation that affects the women and men of America and at least gives some dignity and respect to their intelligence and rights on the disposal of their mutual DNA.

It’s kinda perverted that you have such a hard-on for (American) women’s Rights for you it is the paramount issue in our country -- even more so than National Security or Darfur, (or Men’s rights you conflicted freak) since you pledged with such ferocity that signing this law is the “First thing I’ll Do as President.

They have every right to 50% of abortion and women’s right to choose, but not your perverted sick plan to repeat Tuskegee and get filthy frickin rich off it.
Since your first pledged act as President, if elected, (God forbid) is to sign legislation you have intimate knowledge of (despite your “senior moment” with Pastor Rick Warren while speaking to America) I am pledging to support it subject to some amendments. Yup, I am supporting making abortion legal through the 9th month.

So, no prob Sen. O, I am a-ok with abortion through the 9th month so we can stop this endless war’ over abortion. I am simply asking for private property rights re the fetal remains/mutual DNA for fathers and gay partners, and in the rare case of a fetus that is born alive and no longer a burden to the mother, some rights for the other parent as well.

So my friend, with a few changes we can stop this endless war’. The Bush’s and their children will have to live with the dishonored legacy of Bush lied and people died, and It was all about oil, the Bush’s were made wealthy from it well my friend, our soldiers, as adults, freely made the choice to sacrifice their lives, and in many cases their fortunes, but never to sacrifice their honor. I hope your precious daughters’ and any future children of you and Mrs.
Obama are not dishonored by a legacy of Obama lied and born alive babies died or The Obama’s were made wealthy on the backs of aborted innocent black girls.
Quoting your former Pastor, the Reverend Wright, from his church bulletin (which you and your wife are in, see below) of 10/6/07: and you sure are pimping our dead baby girls eggs in this legislation. Or maybe Rev. Wright’s now infamous
quote: Your (Mr. & Mrs. Obama) chickens have come to roost is appropriate.
Maybe your nickname will be the easter bunny or do we have to say spring holiday bunny now. From everything I have read on Rev. Wright’s faith, he should have kicked you out!

You are sick, father-conflicted person, and a complete disgrace to our Country.
I wonder how proud your poor Mom, God rest her soul, feels about this? I’ll bet she and all the women saints in heaven are weeping.

holy crap, they will be exported to other countries too? This Obama/drmengele is one sick person.

Schroeder is credited with initiating debate over various "taboo" subjects - - areas previously off limits due to Germany's past. He quite frankly talks of Germany's power, interests, and ambitions "in a way that was unthinkable even a decade ago."

Schroeder turns the charges hurled by Rau and others on their head by linking "human dignity" to "access to gainful employment," an appealing argument in a time when unemployment in Germany is over 9%. However, Rau refuses to back down.
"Those who begin to instrumentalize human life," Rau said, "to differentiate between worthy of life and unworthy of life, are on a runaway train." In what was universally construed as a rebuff to Schroeder, Rau added, "Where human dignity is affected, economic arguments do not count.

What do you think about the Catholics who supported Hitler?

Wright, Jr. October 8, 2006 THE AFRICAN HOLOCAUST- WE CANNOT AFFORD TO FORGET by OmiSaide Ali Truly, the memorialization of the African Holocaust should have the same import as that of the European Holocaust.

Your use of Godwin's Law does not apply so don't be dragging that weak dodge out for us.

Soooo, you can't answer my question--What do you think about the Catholics who supported Hitler?

That tells us all we need to know about you.

Your article today is also very telling about people who support Obama.

FOLKS CHECK THE BELOW QUOTES AND THINK ABOUT NAZI GERMANY. SOCIALISTS/LIBERALS ALWAYS HAVE THE SAME AGENDA. STOP FREEDOM OF SPEECH. ANYONE WHO DISAGREES IS A NUTCASE AND SHOULD HAVE THEIR FREEDOM SUPPRESSED AND THEY SHOULD BE COMMITTED. IT'S ALWAYS THE SAME. THE OBAMA CROWD AND CATHOLICS FOR HITLER HAVE A LOT IN COMMON WITH EACH OTHER. NOTE THE QUOTES BELOW.

"A police officer ...told her to stop distributing fliers."

"He cited an anti-littering ordinance."

"Our friends at Catholics United...preventing the distribution of unauthorized material...."

"An extremist Republican who is also a priest...."

"...two of the pamphlets the right wing nut case Randall Terry and his Operation Rescue produced."

I saw a movie recently. "Sophie Scholl: The Final Days (a true story)"

Guess what folks? Sophie is a German war hero. She was executed for guess what? You guessed. It was for passing out fliers that were unathorized. Anti-Hitler fliers.

See the correlation now? Catholics for Obama/Catholics for Hitler. No real difference.

And the fact that this post will be censored is further proof that I AM RIGHT.
