The First Mrs. McCain

The Daily Mail has an interesting article on the first Mrs. John McCain, the mother of his children whom he left for Cindy McCain.

May God have mercy on your soul.
You are blinded by your love for Obama. You spew hatred toward a decent man. You should be ashamed.

It is a link to an article in a conservative newspaper. Hardly spewing hate. I notice you don't claim a word of it is untrue.

We have a tough choice this year. Obama is pro-choice and McCain is pro-adultery. I need to find a pencil for my write in vote.

For God's sake! If his ex-wife holds no grudge who are you to condemn him??????

Is divorce and adultery okay if the abandoned spouse decides not to hold a grudge?

That is not the point. Adultery is never o.k. The point is if the ex-spouse holds no grudge should WE cast stones at the sinner? Maybe her example of forgiveness is something we might want to emulate.

But it is hardly "spewing hate towards a decent man" to note a newspaper article (in a conservative papaer) documenting his past behavior.

So much for "family values"

It is spewing hatred when there is NOTHING positive ever shown on this blog about John McCain. O.K., let me guess....Obama is a living saint and McCain is the devil incarnate. Please!

umm anon, have you not read the title of the blog.... has your mind suddenly gone blank when you typed in the address. Perhaps you should join Uncle Grumpy in taking his internet literacy course.

www.catholicsforobama.blogspot.com is Catholics + for + Obama, not Catholics for McCain

Duh, yes, I know the title of the blog. Does that mean that one must make the other candidate into a scumbag? I guess you don't think your candidate has enough strong points to discuss without resorting to the demonization of the other candidate. I'll pass on the literacy course.

Anon,

I think you need to get out of the house more. This is one of the more civil and fair minded blogs around. (Maybe that's not saying much!). Katherine has posted mostly positive writings (while McCain supporters have been very nasty in the comboxes) and even includes a link to the Catholics for McCain blog.

Adultery and divorce are Catholics issues and cannot be totally ignored. Katherine very nicely limited it to a link in a major newspaper, without any over the top commentary.

We should have it this good more places.

Whatever, Jim. So is abortion a Catholic issue. Kate seems to turn the other way on that one. At least when it comes to Obama.

McCain's ex-spouse has been a kept woman since the divorce w/the help of McBush's new wife's family fortune, so at least Cindy McCain has taken care of McBush's ex which is admirable after McLame left his first wife for a better looking, rich wife whose family Budweiser fortune has funded McSame's political career.

So props to Cindy for taking care of McBush's ex who currently has a job working at a Budweiser distributing factory.

& naturally she would hold no ill will towards Cindy if financially she is taking care of Carol. Carol obviously has a thousands time more character than McLame will ever have.

& yes, her example of forgiveness is something McBush should try to emulate.

McSame is the very definition of political expediency! 'nuf said ...

Shiloh,
I am so glad you know all the ins and outs of the McCain situation. I would guess people could make all kinds of speculations about your life from the outside looking in. How many would be true?

Please, Obumbler has taken political expediency to a new level. Who hasn't he thrown under the bus? Of course, to quote Barry, I'm just a typical white person, just like his Grandma.

take care
